The second main entry to the Guide is the Case Studies
Library, which makes the CD-ROM an exceptional experience
base, representing both a record of corrosion "pathologies" and
a powerful analysis tool.
The clarity and impact of photographic
illustrations are combined with a wealth of scientific
details.
The information in the database is organised
to allow access via "corrosion mode", "material", "medium " or "device" criteria.
Each selected file contains three sections: context,
analysis and remedies.
|
Each section is also directly linked
with the corresponding chapter in the Corrosion
Treatise.
In addition to the list of principal corrosion case studies
delivered with the CD-ROM (about 80),
users can add their own experience base, without
the need for special programming skills.
New cases
are automatically inserted alongside the existing ones,
with the same selection criteria.
